This is a lovely salad using some awesomely nutritious super foods! Packed with antioxidants, minerals, and heart-healthy monounsaturated fats, this salad has a huge range of health – and flavor – benefits. A perfect partner for my Lime Dijon Vinaigrette, too!
Chard & Collard Greens Salad
Prep time: 10 minutes Cook time: 0 minutes Total time: 10 minutes
Yield: 6-8 servings
1 bunch collard greens
1 bunch red chard
2 pints blackberries
3/4 cup macadamia nuts
Dressing, to taste
1. Rinse all produce thoroughly. Tear leaves of both chard and collard greens off of the stems and save the stems for something else. When tearing off the leaves, make the pieces about bite-size.
2. Toss chard, collard greens, blackberries, and macadamia nuts together until they’re well mixed. You may toss in the dressing if desired as well. Serve and enjoy!
